Senior House Bory

Nestling the volumes together creates a mosaic of outdoor spaces: an area for open-air communal lunches, quiet corners with benches, a continuous path for walks and conversation, a gazebo for relaxation, and raised beds for horticultural therapy. Each "house" retains its own identity - reflected in the plaster textures as well as the rhythm and proportion of its openings.

The composition of six smaller, interconnected "houses" breaks down the extensive building program into a human scale that feels natural and intuitive. This smaller, legible space fosters a sense of security, eases navigation, and transforms an impersonal institution into a true home.

The individual houses form clear wings of independent households, all naturally gravitating toward a central core on the ground floor with shared amenities.
